Our Parklea Public School choirs provide students with important opportunities to build their confidence, self-esteem and vocal skills. Our choir groups allow students to learn various songs (classics to new music) throughout the year through a safe and encouraging environment. Students are taught a range of skills such as building tone quality, pitch and range control.
Students work together as part of team and learn to read music, understand timing and sing in harmony with one another.
Choir groups at Parklea Public School include;
- Infants choir (Kindergarten & Stage 1)
- primary choir (Stages 2 & 3).
Parklea Public School Choir Group students will have opportunities throughout the year to perform at school-based events and local festivals such as the Ridges Performing Arts Festival.
