Students participate in several carnivals throughout the year.
These include:
- Swimming Carnival in Term 1
- Cross Country in Term 2
- Athletics Carnival in Term 3
Year 2 students turning 8 in the calendar year may attend the 3-6 carnival to compete for representation in school representative teams at the Ridges carnivals.
Students gaining a high place in the Swimming, Cross Country or Athletics Carnivals have the opportunity to represent Parklea Public School at the Ridge's District Carnival for that respective sport.
At Parklea Public School we encourage each child to do their best and represent their school with dignity and sportsmanship. Parklea Public School has a proud tradition of high achievement in all these areas.
