Social Skills lessons focus directly on the universal expectations of Parklea (PBL). Lessons are developed from departmental guidelines and resources.
In the lessons, students are exposed to a wide range of activities, hands on experiences and digital media opportunities. Here is an example of a social skills lesson.
By adopting a universal approach to social skills instruction, it is hoped that all teachers and students at Parklea have a consistent and thorough understanding of how to be Safe, Respectful Learners.
